**Unfortunately, no survivors were found. The ship is now heading to Christmas Island, ETA 01/08 AM**

Yesterday evening, we were notified by the ship that they had received instructions from Maritime Authority to assist with a search and rescue operation for a sunken Indonesian fishing vessel 8 hours south of her position.

Maritime regulations state that the closest vessel is to assist with SAR ops.

This will affect the ship’s arrival into Christmas Island and Fremantle.
