Emergency Bunker Surcharge

Good Day Shippers,

Due to the ongoing Middle East conflict, bunker (ship’s fuel) rates have increased dramatically.

As such, we are implementing an ‘Emergency Bunker Surcharge’ (EBS) effective immediately for voyage AL2602.

The EBS will be in addition to the Bunker Adjustment Factor (BAF) currently charged. 

The EBS will be applied at the following rates:

  • AUD 750/TEU for containers

  • AUD 115/RT for breakbulk

  • AUD 25/RT for LCL.

We will continue to monitor and review bunker prices on a voyage per voyage basis.
