Due to problems associated with the breakdown of the wharf crane on Christmas Island and prospect of spare parts not arriving onto the island until Friday 10 February 2017, at the earliest, the decision was made to mitigate lost time and sail the ASCL Michele onto Singapore.
Once containers have been re-stowed and southbound cargo loaded, the ASCL Michele will depart and carry out a southbound call at Christmas Island.
Current ETA on Christmas Island is around 12-13 February 2017.
