Dear Shippers,

The Borkum arrived at Christmas Island on Tuesday 31/01.

Due to unfavourable weather conditions caused by two low pressure systems to the SE and SW of the island, the ship has not been able to berth.

As a result the Borkum has been drifting off island waiting for the weather to subside.

The latest weather report we have from the island is that conditions do not show any signs of improving in the next 5-7 days.
