The Borkum arrived into Fremantle on 16/03 and is currently waiting at anchorage.
Due to the high number of vessels in port and heavy congestion at the berth there is an issue with securing sufficient labour to work the Borkum. Coupled with this, a portion of the stevedore workforce is in isolation due to Covid positive and close contact cases.
The latest advice is that the Borkum is first in line to be worked and will berth on 24/03 to commence operations.
