Cocos Islands Stevedoring and Container Transport Rates

To Cocos Islands shippers,

We have been advised by the Cocos Co-operative that the following rate increases and changes to service parameters:

  • LCL – $685/RT
  • FPOE Biosecurity fee LCL – $25/RT
  • 20ft container transport
    • Home Island Jetty – $1,000 per 20’ container
    • West Island Zone 1 (Settlement/Q Station/Fuel Farm) – $870 per 20’ container
    • West Island Zone 2 (RAAF Base/Bureau of Meteorology Office) – $970 per 20′ container.

These rates will be effective from AL2407.

The attached map designates West Island container transport zones.

Any additional transport requirements can be discussed directly with the Cocos Co-operative.
