Zentner Shipping has received notification from ASC Liner Services in Singapore of an increase in the base container and breakbulk rates for shipping cargo to both Christmas and Cocos Islands.

The increased operating costs of the vessel, increases in bunker fuel costs and weather delays, have been factors in their decision.
The rise in container rates will affect the LCL rate to both islands. Once the updated rates are determined they will be advised in a further notice. The new rates will be effective from Voyage MZ1805.
