Due to the breakdown of the Favco Wharf crane at Christmas Island, additional transport charges have been incurred to shift containers and cargo from Flying Fish Cove Jetty to CI Wharf.
As such, we are implementing a “Wharf Infrastructure Breakdown Surcharge” until the Favco Wharf crane is operational and the use of Flying Fish Cove Jetty is no longer required.
These charges are being passed on at cost.
We regret to implement these charges, but unfortunately, they are unavoidable.
The surcharge costs are as follows:
$65/TEU
$2.50/RT LCL
$125/RT Break Bulk
These charges will be effective from voyage AL2305.
